The DAeC invites teams out of whole Europe (including Turkey and Israel) to attend the 17th EuroChamps for magnet steered model aircraft gliders.
After 1982 and 1986, it is the third which takes place on the holy mountain for gliding, the Wasserkuppe, the highest peak in the Rhön.
Rhön is the collective name for some hundred mountains in the centre of Germany, with the city of Fulda in the West.
