The FAI Freeflight World Championship for Gliders with Automatic Steering (Slope Soaring) will be held from 12. to 20. September in the Rhön in Germany. On 13. September an open worldcup competition (Berner world cup) will be held, a further one on 19. September (Rhön world cup). The European championship F1E was held in the same area in 2008. More  slopes will be available 2009 compared to 2008.The World Championship will be held for seniors and juniors in separate competions. Saturday, September 12th: From 17.30 Welcome of the Competitors at Gersfeld Townhall. 18.00 Opening Ceremony at Gersfeld Townhall.

 

Sunday, September 13th: 10.00 to 17.30 Swiss World Cup (venue depends on the wind direction). 18.00 Fly-offs
 

Monday, September 14th: From 10.00 to 17.00 World Champs Registration and Processing of the models at the Wasserkuppe, Hangar 7. 12.00 Team Managers Meeting in the meeting room

Tuesday, September 15th: 10.00 to 17.30 World Champs F1E Juniors (venue depends on the wind direction). 18.00 Fly-offs
 

Wednesday, September 16th: 10.00 to 17.30 World Champs F1E Seniors (venue depends on the wind direction). 18.00 Fly-offs

 

Thursday, September 17th: Reserve Day.

 

Friday, September 18th: 10.00 to 15.00 Excursion offered by the Organisation Team of the World Championship or visit of the Wasserkuppe Museum.
18.00 Price Giving, Closing Ceremony and Banquet Hilders, Townhall

 

Saturday, September 19th: 10.00 - 17.30 Rhön World Cup (venue depends on the wind direction). 18.00 Fly-offs
